5-0 for BN’s Zambry

Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir is the rightful Perak Mentri Besar, the Federal Court ruled in a unanimous decision. The five-man Bench found Tuesday that the Court of Appeal was justified in reversing the High Court’s May 11 judgement which declared Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin as Mentri Besar.

Najib congratulating Dr Zambry who was declared the rightful Mentri Besar of Perak by the Federal Court Tuesday. News of the court’s decision came while najib was chairing the 108th meeting of chief ministers and mentris besar in Putrajaya. Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak hoped the people of Perak will focus on efforts to develop the state and not get involved in any political activities now that the Federal Court has decided on who is the rightful mentri besar.
