Zamzamzairani appointed UEM Sunrise chairman


Telekom Malaysia Bhd group chief executive officer Tan Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa at the company's full-year results announcement on Feb 24.

KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Sunrise Bhd has appointed Tan Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa (pic) as its new chairman, effective on Thursday, to replace Tan Sri Dr Ahmad Tajuddin Ali who has retired.

A respected and well-known corporate figure, Zamzamzairani’s vast experience in the telecommunication industry spanned more than 30 years beginning with Telekom Malaysia Bhd before assuming key positions in multinational companies.

In 2005, he returned to Telekom Malaysia and held several positions before being appointed group chief executive officer and managing director from April 2008 until April 30, 2017. - Bernama
