- TARGET AUDIENCES
Secondary and tertiary level students preparing for orinterested in further studies, working adults seeking furthereducation, educationists, parents and others interested in orrelated to the education industry.
- RENTAL OF BOOTHS AND FLOOR SPACE AREA
A) Kuala Lumpur : Standard booth (Shell scheme package, 3m x 3m) is RM4,500.00 (US$1,500) per booth.Standard floor space(3m x 3m) is RM4,300.00 (US$1,450) per floor space.
Penang : Standard booth (Shell scheme package, 3m x 3m) is RM2,800.00 (US$950) per booth.
B) Shell Scheme Package
The following facilities will be supplied on loan basis to al lExhibitors taking up the shell scheme package for the twodays:
a) 8mm thick polycon panels of 1m (width) x 2.5m (height)combined with aluminium profile system.
b) Needle-punch carpet laid directly onto the booth area.
c) 2 units - 40watt fluorescent lights located behind the fasciaboard
d) 1 unit- 13amp single phase pointe) 1 unit - information desk
f) 2 units - folding chairs
g) 1 unit of wastepaper basket
h) Company’s name and booth number in self-adhesive PVC lettering on the fascia board.
** None of the above items will be provided for the floor space area
Any additional power point or furniture requirement must bereferred to the Official Contractor.Provision of additional requirements is subject to availability.
- PAYMENT
Full payment and security deposit (see Appendix 1) must accompany Exhibitor’s Application Form A (in duplicate) on or before 28 November 2007.Crossed cheque(s) must be made in favour of Star Publications (Malaysia) Berhad. Exhibitors are not permitted to attend the balloting session if payments are not settled five (5) working days prior to the balloting date. In the event of default in payment the Organiser reserves the right to refuse participation and claim all outstanding dues from the defaulting exhibitor. Such defaulting exhibitors shall not be entitled to any claim for compensation and any payment made shall be for feited. Refunds are only possible if the exhibition is cancelled due to reasons beyond the control of the Organiser. Exhibitors requiring the services of the contractors other than theOrganiser’s designated Official Contractor are required to deposit a Performance Bond with the Organiser.For further details, please refer to Appendix 1.
- BOOTH ALLOCATION
All rented booth(s) will be allocated by balloting.Only Exhibitors that have submitted a completed Form A and have made full payment will be invited for the balloting. Foreign exhibitors can authorise the Organiser to ballot ontheir behalf.
- APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION
Applications for participation shall be made on theprescribed forms enclosed (Form A- Exhibitor’s ApplicationForm / Cash Sale Invoice and Form C- Performance Bond) induplicate must be accompanied with FULL PAYMENT. Uponacceptance by the Organiser, the application will be deemed as the Official Contract of Participation.The Organiser reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any application, or limit the number of facilities/booths applied for, payments received not withstanding.
- PARKING
Ample chargeable parking space is available at the basement car park of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and Penang International Sports Arena (PISA).
- RENTAL OF TELEPHONE LINES / INTERNETACCESS / AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT / POTTED PLANTS
Exhibitors who need temporary telephone line/audio visual equipment and loan of potted plants at their booths are to fillup the necessary forms included in the booklet or contact KLCC exhibition services Tel:+603-2333 2603.
- FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Exhibitors are advised that food and beverages are notallowed into the exhibition halls.
- ORGANISER’S OFFICE
The Organiser’s office will be set up at the exhibition site. It will also serve as an information and reception counter for theduration of the exhibition.
- FILM / AUDIO-VISUAL DEMONSTRATION /CENSORSHIP / COPYRIGHT
Exhibitors must ensure that all video tapes / CDs / VCDs/ Discs have been approved by the Censorship Board and therelevant authorithies before they are displayed/sold at theexhibition site.
- SOUND LEVEL
Sound levels must be set at a level which causes no interference with or annoyance to other exhibitors.The Organiser reserves the right to reduce the soundlevel,restrict or switch off any audio-visual, display whichgives rise to complaints.
- BOOTH BOUNDARY
Exhibitors must display, distribute, organise activities, promote their organisations within the confined parameters of the booth(s) in compliance with the stipulated rules andregulations of Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia.
- BOOTH(S) OPERATION
All exhibition stands must be fully staffed and operational throughout the opening hours of the exhibition. Exhibitors must not participate in any activity that causes, or is likely to cause annoyance to visitors or other exhibitors.
- TEMPORARY PASSES AND EXHIBITOR TAGS
For security purposes, exhibitors must wear the passes provided by the Organiser at all times of the exhibition.
