Words of wisdom and inspiration
SINCE my school days, I have been collecting inspirational quotes. I would like to share with StarEducate readers some of my favourite quotes:
“It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.” – Mother Teresa
● “I was angry that I had no shoes, till I met a man who had no feet.” – Chinese proverb
● “Swallow your pride occasionally; it’s non-fattening!” – Unknown
● “The purpose of life is a life of purpose.” – Robert Byrne
● “A long life may not be good enough, but a good life is long enough.” – Benjamin Franklin
● “It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.” – Unknown
Good things ought to be shared and as long as we are open to learning, education never ends. As the Chinese saying goes: “Teachers open the door but you must enter by yourself.”
