Education fair
THE United States (US) Universities Education Fair will be held in Kuala Lumpur (KL) at the JW Marriott Hotel on Jan 28. There will also be a fair in Penang on Jan 30 at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel. Both fairs will be held from 3.30pm to 7.30pm.
A consular officer from the US embassy will be present at both fairs to answer questions related to obtaining a student visa.

English conference
THE Malaysian English Language Teaching Association (Melta) is organising its 22nd Melta International Conference themed “Innovations in English Language Education: Evolving Policy, Envisioning Curriculum, Empowering Practitioners”.

THE Asean Youth Volunteer Programme@AsiaEngage is a dedicated youth volunteerism platform that aims to implement regional volunteerism projects. Supported by the Asean Secretariat and the Youth and Sports Ministry, the programme targets youth between the ages of 18 and 30.

THE East-West Centre in the United States is accepting applications for a Japan Studies Fellowship and an Asia Studies Fellowship.
