Of old school types

Mrs Joyce Wong was the absolute favourite

Giving out pencils, rulers and chocolates

To pupils who excelled in their monthly tests

That’s why we always did out best

Singing and playing the piano with such gusto

In concert ‘Rose of Joy’, of sunbeams and dragon, oh!

Form 1D girls will always remember Miss Parameswari

Whose life we sure made a misery

Bullying her until we saw her cry

If she hated us, it’s no wonder why!

Young and dashing Chew Seng Buan we recall

We’re sure many girls for him did fall

He was also an officer with Boys’ Brigade

Who’s teachings to the boys will never fade

Lanky Miss Lim-Chuah Swee Eng, clad in cheongsam

Swaying gracefully like the coconut palm

Always sweet and demure in her ways

She sure got the guys in a daze!

We also remember kind Jessie David too

Who taught us in standard one and two

Her patience and kindness we never forget

Where are you, don’t you think it’s time we met?

To all the teachers who ever taught us       Sorry for all our misdeeds or the fuss

We really thank God for giving you to us

Hope we meet again, chat and reminisce
