Oh teacher ...
You are like a candle
You flicker and burn
You never get tired
You teach your students
who are all so different.
You give us inspiration
You have patience
You teach us well
You mark our books without getting bored
You always get our attention when you talk
Teacher,
You are the best
You never let us down
Whenever we are wrong
You always correct us
You are always there for us.
Sometimes ...
We cannot understand what you teach
But with your kindness
You help us through it
Your time is spent with us
