Who’s ‘in-change’ of this?
The an acknowledgment form used by TM when they deliver things is stamped and signed by the “Person In-changes”.
Obviously, no one in TM spotted the error – it should be “Person-in-charge” – but it’s embarrassing that a Malaysian company which is expanding across the globe uses such atrocious English, which is seen by everyone to whom the form is presented.
And of course, the word “chop” may be familiar to Malaysians, but the proper word is “stamp”. – David, Kuala Lumpur
