Tarnished image

I VISITED the Balai Besar of Alor Star (opposite Masjid Zahir) recently and saw this sign. It was littered with grammatical errors.
It is a shame that such signs are placed in a tourist attraction area. I believe the Alor Star City Hall and the Malaysian Tourism Board have a lot to do with regard to the use of English in public areas.

No mastery here
FROM their advertisement board, I concluded that their standard of English definitely needs improvement.
I think “Master English” is better than “Mastery of English” and “Make a different” is definitely wrong: it should be “Make a difference”. Then the whole thing will read correctly as “Master English, Make a difference”.
