Work well done!

ONCE a carpenter showed his completed cabinet to his friend. Beaming with pride he said, “I even varnished the back part of the cabinet,” he said.

His friend replied, “Nobody will know as they will never view the back.”

“I will know,” said the carpenter with glee.

In short, this is what job satisfaction is all about: knowing that you have done your best.

It is a joy to have colleagues who take great pains over their work. They are systematic and organised.

If one of the following words describes you, then you deserve all the accolades from your boss and colleagues. It reflects on your sound work ethics and moral integrity.

Mindful of small details, making sure that everything is done correctly.

As a scientist you have to be very precise in writing your articles.

Diligent

Showing close attention and effort in your work or duties.

Simon is a diligent worker who deserves to be promoted.
