“Nobody was injured in the robbery,” he told reporters waiting outside Daud’s residence, which has a big garden along the busy road in Petra Jaya.

ACP Wong said that two parangs, believed to have been used by the robbers, were found at the crime scene.

He said the robbers had entered the house from the back.

Sources said Daud, his wife and one of their children were having their pre-dawn meal (makan sahur) when the robbers struck after having overpowered a security guard.
