Yamaha Inpres-X Z Cavity
Yamaha’s new Inpres-X Z Cavity iron series has been for the average golfer and high handicapper.
These irons come with an increased head size, including a thicker top line, face, heel-to-toe length and more offset.
The Z Cavity irons feature a low, deep centre of gravity and high-elasticity maraging face, which allows golfers to hit the ball with authority and make the ball fly in the directions desired.
Inpres-X D Forged
The all-new Yamaha Inpres-X D Forged irons have been completely redesigned and are forged this time around.
The D Forged is the forged iron for midhandicappers and average golfers who prefer to play a forged cavity back but still need ease of use and forgiveness.
The premium Endo forged S20C D Forged head is matched with a plasma welded SAE high repulsion face. The SAE face provides durability and increased rebound for higher ball speeds and better performance.
Meanwhile, the Soft Forged S20C Body promotes an enhanced feel and the specially designed steel shafts are able to provide ease of controllability.
The centre of gravity point is at an ultra-low 18.5mm (#5) making it easy for average golfers to hit the sweet spot for max performance, coupled with a high repulsion 2.3mm thin SAE cup face design.
Inpres-X Z202, D202
The Yamaha Z202 and D202 drivers, the latest from Yahama, feature a 460cc clubhead with a wide sweetspot.
The clubhead is the largest yet in the Inpres-X series thus far and come with an original TMX-412D graphite shaft that is equipped with Yamaha’s distinctive Tip Weight Technology that boosts initial velocity.
The tip area of the shaft is reinforced so that at impact the face remains square.
The Power Chemical Milling Crown technology employed in creating the drivers creates a variable thickness crown that enables a more accurate projectile path.
These Yamaha drivers have been designed with the average golfer in mind.
Suggested retail price: RM2,950 Yamaha Inpress X Z202 and D202 drivers.
