MGA annual meeting
THE race for vice-president of MGA is over – Datuk Mohamed Zain Yusuf, the only candidate running in the race was elected for a new term from 2012-2014 at the MGA’s Annual General Meeting held on May 27, 2012 at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club.
Kelantan representative Ahmad Bahri Hassan and Pahang representative Jaafar Abdullah were also returned unopposed for two-year terms, while Robert Oh, the only candidate for Penang, was also elected.
“I am glad that we have almost a full line-up of committee members, except for Perlis, who did not nominate anybody,” said MGA’s president Tan Sri Mohd Anwar.
“We have a lot of work ahead of us and I am confident that we will be able to pull through as we have a dedicated and passionate team of committee and staff.”
