The Star Online FAQ
The Star Online is an information portal on the Internet. It was launched on June 23, 1995 as the Internet edition of Malaysia's leading English-language newspaper, The Star, but has since evolved - with added features and functions - to move away from merely being an online newspaper.
This is the third major redesign of The Star Online, after the previous redesign of the site was launched in July 2005, in conjunction with the site’s 10th anniversary. It was done primarily to make it easier for users to navigate and access the many forms of content available here.
For example, at the very top of the screen are links to our online classifieds section, Star-Jobs, Global Malaysian Network, online broadcasts of radio stations under The Star group and a whole lot more. One click and you’re there.
Over the World Wide Web, on PDAs and via handphones (through SMS, WAP and wireless Internet access).
Plenty! You continue to send us feedback and we keep trying to improve The Star Online “experience” for you.
