Anwar case: Judge rules
she can hear defence's objections
Sessions Court judge S.M.Komathy Suppiah decided on Tuesday that she had the discretion to hear submissions on the defence's objection questioning the validity of the certificate produced by the prosecution to transfer Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy case to the High Court.
Despite saying she had no time for a proper honeymoon, mainland Chinese actress Hu Jing and Malaysian business tycoon Frank Choo managed a short getaway at Pulau Redang for a few days.
