Terror in the park

This week, the northern Spanish city of Bilbao has some strange visitors. Men and women with bloody wounds, hybrid creatures and zombies walk the streets along with the residents who are out enjoying the beautiful spring weather.
‘Scarface’ It would be terrifying if this happened after dark, but fortunately, these are only actors promoting the Bilbao Fantasy Film Festival, or FANT, from May 8 to 16. The festival was founded in 1995 and features horror and fantasy films from around the world.

From its modest beginnings, FANT has become increasingly important and is now a date that every fan of fantasy cinema marks on their yearly calendar. During the festival, they have the opportunity to watch everything from Carl Theodor Dreyer classics to the latest flicks, meet some of the best directors of the genre and even enjoy film-related food.
