Brilliant colours of Kashmir

TUMI looks to the intense colours of Kashmir for its fall/winter women’s collection. There is the bohemian styling of the Leh collection – think leather handbags with tassel and braided detailing. Magenta, yellow and bronze give slouchy hobos and clutches more of the boho chic feel.
From the Villa collection comes a wheeled duffel and a 63cm packing case complete with removable garment cover. Slim silhouettes in briefcases present a more feminine option for the professional woman. There’s also a simple satchel with the signature silver hardware closure.
Despite the economic downturn, people are still travelling for business and pleasure. The Voyageur collection offers wheeled cases, duffels, totes, satchels in shades of eggplant and magenta. Style it up with python prints trimmed with dark brown leather.
And check out the Q Tote with leather detailing, combining nylon, a zip top closure and interior pockets (in five solid colours and print options).
It’s in the bag: Eye-catching totes from Tumi’s 2009 autumn/winter collection. The men can’t do wrong with the classics – natural rustic shades and understated elegance. The Townhouse gets the sleek treatment with some additions in exotic skins. Shades of chocolate brown abound on the Esmond satchel, York brief and Plympton pouch.
Additions to the signature black ballistic nylon include a backpack and a small carry-on bag.
Sundance returns with a collection of daytime bags in durable cotton twill in addition to pebble leather.
It’s a blackout with shades of ink and cumin. Choices include traditional messenger bags, a backpack and a tote with trimmed leather detailing. Oversized tote and garment bags in two shades are the options for travel.
