Tone and texture
WOMEN are getting an earlier start than ever before to slow down the first signs of ageing. Touted to be good for our bodies, vitamin C applied topically is claimed to keep skin even and bright, offer potent antioxidant protection from environmental stressors such as pollution and sunlight, and is highly effective for smooth skin.
Kiehl’s targeted combination of anti-ageing treatments from its Dermatologist Solutions collection, the powerful yet gentle Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, is said to improve tone and texture all over the face.
Containing 10.5% pure vitamin C, it is touted to have shown superior results compared to a potent retinol cream thought to be the gold standard for wrinkle reduction.
Due to its antioxidant properties, it acts as a free radical scavenger, preventing DNA damage within skin cells from UV radiation, which is the initial trigger of over-production of melanin.
Aside from lessening fine lines and wrinkles, vitamin C helps boost the natural production of collagen within the dermis and speeds up exfoliation.
The Concentrate is now available in a larger 75ml size, retailing at RM310. Available at Kiehl’s stores.
