Slower bodily hair regrowth
SOME women are blessed with more hair than they can handle. French marine brand Thalgo has come up with the innovative Biodepyl 3.1 said to inhibit and slow down regrowth of body hair.
The range was formulated with Capislow, an extract of the shrub Larrea divaricata, an essential element that ensures hair grows back slower, shorter, thinner, sparser and finer.
It is touted that hair grows back twice as slowly, with a reduction in pilosity by up to 55% in some cases.
The Biodepyl 3.1 Solution soothes resulting redness and inflammation, and works through three main actions: peeling, soothing and hydrating.
The light transparent gel contains glycolic acid which acts to exfoliate and refine the skin’s surface while helping to peel away the skin over the ingrown hair, leaving it easier to remove.
One of the main ingredients, the algae Efficiensea, is best known for its soothing properties. Designed for both women and men, it may be used on any part of the body.
Biodepyl 3.1 Concentrate is formulated for use on legs and less sensitive areas of the body, while Biodepyl 3.1 Gel is for sensitive areas of the face and body.
Price range: RM119 to RM179. Available at all authorised Thalgo outlets.
