Dressing like heroes
IF you’re a fan of the different superheroes of the comic world, you can show off your high regard for their costumes in your day-to-day wear. These different brands have a range of fashion wear that range from clothing to accessories, and will be perfect for you to flaunt your heroic charm.
Superheroes United
For die-hard Marvel Comics fans, the Superheroes United store offers T-shirts, jackets, jeans, shirts, outerwear, inner wear, belts, watches and other merchandise. As it is, Marvel Comics’ super hero characters, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, The Amazing Spiderman, X-Men, Ghost Rider and Fantastic Four, among others, inspire the brand’s range of clothing and accessories. The Superheroes United stores (recently opened last July) are located in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Selangor and Dataran Pahlawan Megamall, Malacca.
DC Comics Super Heroes
The DC Comics universe is many of the world’s superheroes. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and The Flash are some of the immediately identifiable characters. Similarly, fans of DC Comics would feel right at home at the DC Comics Super Heroes stores where they will find all they need to dress up like their heroes and heroines. Various T-shirts, apparel and memorabilia can be found here since the brand was launched locally last year. The DC Comics Super Heroes stores are located in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur; and 1-Utama and Sunway Pyramid, Selangor.
Threadless
The brand is famed for their rad T-shirts. Naturally, they have some mighty fine ones that depict superheroes too, as well as accessories like iPhone cases in the same nature. The founder and CSO Jake Nickell won a T-shirt design competition for an event in London, and this inspired him and friend Jacob DeHart to create Threadless, an ongoing open call for T-shirt design submissions. Once the idea took off, it soon evolved into a business. The store is located in New York City, but products can be purchased online at threadless.com.
