Basking in the limelight
Catch up on the latest entertainment buzz.
IN a revealing exclusive interview with Galaxie, Katy Perry, just in time for her documentary film Part Of Me, talks about the challenges of filming her life, her relationship with God and, oh yes, her marriage, too. “I don’t need a Prince Charming to have the happy ending. I can make the happy ending myself,” Perry explains in the July 17-31 issue of Galaxie.
Everything you might want to know about the TomKat divorce saga, you will find it in the Buzz section of the magazine, including details about their split, the fight for their daughter Suri and the divorce settlement.
There are also other juicy news like the story behind Nicki Minaj paying US$6,000 (RM18,000) for chicken and why The Wanted’s Max George got into trouble for kissing Jennifer Lopez.
We also have features on Train, Usher and a special story on the eye candy athletes competing in the Olympics this year.
The members of Train get candid with Galaxie’s Evelyn Teo as they show their unexpected funny side, while Usher gives the low down on how he survives the music business 20 years on and what he does to sustain his career. “Evolve or evaporate”, is Usher’s motto.
Galaxie also gives tips on how you can dress stylishly for under RM50. Bathroom singers will be glad that we offer the songwords to Laserlight by Jessie J and How We Do by Rita Ora. YouTube fans will be pleased with the 10 commercials featuring celebs like Taylor Swift, Rihanna, David Beckham and more. You’ll also find posters of Justin Bieber, Alex Pettyfer, Cory Monteith, The Wanted and more.
Those who wish to own a copy of Perry’s Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection can enter the contest. Other contest prizes on offer are The Dark Knight Rises merchandise and movie passes and Snow White And The Huntsman novels.
Galaxie also has a special movie screening for dance film Step Up Revolution on Aug 1. For free movie passes and screening details, just enter the contest on galaxieblog.com.my (available today).
