Travel, photography and poetry come together
Travel, photography and poetry come together in an art book that paints a loving portrait of friendship.
TO travel is to have your eyes opened to the many facets of the world, but to travel with friends is to discover unknown aspects to familiar people. Author and photographer Nick Langat beautifully captures this experience in his art book InNoSense: A Journey Of Love, a loving ode to journeys around 48 countries that he shared with his friends (the book is available in six different covers).
The book is dedicated to the memory of his late friends Christian and Thaworn, who shared some of his journeys, and poignantly uses photography and poetry to create an intimate, tender depiction of both friendship and travel.
Gorgeous images of landscapes and cultures are juxtaposed against honest moments of closeness and love, thereby reframing countries as diverse as Vietnam, Botswana, Bhutan and Iceland as emotional experiences.
Loving ode: Tiger Monastery, Bhutan is one of the places Nick Langat featured in his book, InNoSense: A Journey Of Love. Writes Langat: “Simple traveling becomes a journey of love and understanding where you explore the hearts and souls of your friends as much as the landscapes of the country you are visiting.” – Sharmilla Ganesan
