SEPT 14-16: 20 By Two is a collaboration between Malaysian and South-East Asian fashion portal Tongue in Chic and Singaporean social publishing platform FashionSpace. The event will showcase the debut Fall/Winter 2012 collections of 18 well-known and emerging fashion brands from Malaysia and Singapore. Designs will be available for purchase at the event, as well as online at 20bytwo.com. Admission: Free. Time: 4-10pm (Sept 14) and 10am-10pm (Sept 15 and 16).

SEPT 23: Pusat Majudiri Y for The Deaf is organising the International Deaf Day Celebration & Deaf Awareness Exhibition to increase public awareness of the deaf and their impact on society. SEPT 18-23: Since 2009, World Bamboo Day has been celebrated officially around the world on Sept 18. Activities at this week-long event are family-friendly, with forums, seminars, bamboo shoot-based cooking demos, colouring contests, and even a competition for bamboo furniture designs.
