Arthur’s Day finale

Are you ready for the triple concert whammy that is Arthur’s Day on Friday? This year, there will be three different celebrations happening simultaneously over five hours at three locations around the Klang Valley, starting at 8pm on Sept 28. The headliners are Hong Kong star Justin Lo (Bar Factory, Sunway Giza), popular Filipino rock band Rivermaya (Laundry Bar, The Curve), and local stars Reshmonu and Jacyln Victor (SOULed Out, Sri Hartamas). The celebration is part of a global event that is taking place in over 40 countries.

Arthur’s Day is celebrated to honour the date Arthur Guinness signed a 9,000-year lease on the St James Gate Brewery in 1759, and whose legacy has brought us the globally celebrated iconic black brew, Guinness.

A special addition to the celebration this year is the launch of the Arthur Guinness Fund in Malaysia in partnership with the British Council. This is a global initiative set up to further the philanthropic legacy of Arthur Guinness and support social entrepreneurs around the world.
