Since we are pleasantly surprised to have survived 2012 (phew!), Galaxie in its annual bumper issue (Jan 1-31), recounts the people and events that rocked the year with 20 shocking headlines and 13 celebrities we love, just in time to welcome 2013.
From sex scandals and the fatal shooting at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises to Britain’s Prince Harry’s nude misbehaviour and Kristen Stewart’s affair, right down to the unfortunate and sudden death of Whitney Houston, we highlight the year’s most attention-grabbing events.
Galaxie also features “Faces of 2012” which includes celebrities like Channing Tatum, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson, Psy, Carly Rae Jepsen and more.
Movie fans will find their regular fix as the Galaxie team highlights the movies that wowed us in 2012. Among them are The Avengers, Life Of Pi, Ted and The Hunger Games.
For music lovers, we serve up some of our favourite albums and singles of the year. You can expect Gotye’s Somebody That I Used to Know, Fun.’s We Are Young, and Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe to be among the list.
Meanwhile, fans of Swedish House Mafia should catch the trio in action before it goes on a hiatus when it plays in Kuala Lumpur. The group is set to perform in the Swedish House Mafia One Last Tour Live concert on Jan 18.
By the way, Galaxie is giving out tickets for the show. Enter the contest today!
You can also win Rihanna’s, Bruno Mars’ and Olly Murs’ albums and other exciting prizes from us.
