Turn back time
The catch phrase used to be “age gracefully”. Now skincare companies are talking about turning back time.
Estée Lauder Research recently developed its most advanced, “age-reversing” moisturiser, the Advanced Time Zone Age Reversing Line/Wrinkle Collection.
These powerful moisturisers are touted to reverse skin’s visible signs of ageing, with a revolutionary Tri-HA Cell Signaling Complex that helps strengthen skin’s natural cellular communication.
A unique blend of three HA Technologies that include high molecular weight HA, HA fragments and anti-hyaluronidase Centaury extract, work together to replenish, rebuild and sustain skin’s optimal levels of HA to instantly plump and smoothen fine lines, and visibly fill-in more prominent wrinkles.
The skin’s natural production of hyaluronic acid is said to be boosted by 182% in just three days and healthy skin cells are signalled to migrate to the site of damage up to seven times faster. Skin is claimed to look dramatically smoother, fresher and less lined.

Gotta-have Gucci
THE first male fragrance entirely designed by Gucci creative director Frida Giannini as a signature for the modern Gucci male icon, Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme, is sensual and masculine.
The top notes are essence of cypress and calone, violet and bergamot.
It has a unique heart note of warm incense and a leathery accord, with a base of woody notes of patchouli, cedarwood and amyris.
The sleek design of the flacon’s rich, grey glass is complemented by the brand’s iconic horsebit design.
The gift set, which includes an EDT, travel spray and shower gel will surely please the discerning and elegant man.

The stuff of legend
LEGEND pour Femme is the newest women’s fragrance by Montblanc. It’s the companion fragrance to last year’s Legend, the brand’s successful man’s fragrance.
The Montblanc woman, featuring model Mini Anden, is photographed, like her male counterpart, by Peter Lindbergh. She is the epitome of elegance. And her perfume says more about her than the longest speech.
Bright and intense, this fragrance is fruity, tender and subtle with opening notes of neroli, slightly under ripe pear and bitter orange. The soul of the fragrance is made up of orange blossom, lily-of-the-valley (white and green) and Indian jasmine. The base notes are musk, vanilla and some blond woods.
The bottle features the famous emblem, the six-pointed star, which is also reflected in the Montblanc 4810 jewellery collection. There’s also a body lotion version available.
