GIVENCHY’S Le Soin Noir is touted to be the ultimate in luxury skincare. With the launch of Le Soin Noir Masque Dentelle, the brand revolutionises the way the beauty mask is usually perceived.

The regenerating power of a high dose of vital black algae sap concentrate is infused into the weave of an authentic Dentelle de Calais, a delicate, black lace veil. Touted to be a “double sheath” effect to lift and re-sculpt, the elasticity in the fine weave of the lace is supposed to cling to the contours and volume of the face. This envelops and exerts gentle lifting tension on facial features, providing a mechanical action that is said to enhance the effects of the concentrate.

The lace’s floral patterns are denser in strategic areas such as the eye contour, forehead and jawline as it holds a greater amount of concentrate for reinforced action. The contours of the face are claimed to be firmer, wrinkles fade and the outline of the face lifted after use.

The treatment comes in a black, lace-printed container with two distinct compartments. Press on the reservoir containing the concentrate to transfer it to the mask until it is completely soaked. Delicately unfold the mask and pull it over the face. Gently massage in remaining product after mask removal or wipe with a cotton pad soaked with Le Soin Noir Lotion, said to further enhance the action of the concentrate on the skin. Vital marine water is the key ingredient in this Lotion, which is usually used as the first step in hydrating and toning the skin.
