Hoping for a repeat
TWENTY-twelve. A remarkable year filled with tears and smiles. A year in which I came closer to my dream of becoming an English teacher: I enrolled as a TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) student. The year also threw up uncountable hardships – but they just helped me become a stronger person. From being arrogant, I am now humble; from not having friends, I now have the world’s most wonderful friends. Looking back all the way to the beginning of 2012, I have come to realise how much of an impact the year has had on me. A year that pushed me down and then gave me a lift up. A year that I would definitely want this new year to be like.
