Two more Lexus centres

LEXUS Malaysia started the year on a stronger footing by introducing two more showrooms in Kuala Lumpur that reflect the luxury Japanese car maker’s classy style and craftsmanship.

The outlets are the Lexus Sungai Besi, a full-fledged 3S (sales, service and spare parts) stop and Lexus Kuala Lumpur, an exclusive showroom at Jalan Sultan Ismail, focusing solely on sales.

Lexus Sungai Besi is owned and operated by Wing Hin Auto Carriage Sdn Bhd, a long-time distributor of Lexus and Toyota vehicles in Malaysia.

The renovated RM5.5mil facility features 10 service bays, a luxurious guest lounge and is staffed by 37 highly trained employees to provide everyone from a walk-in guest to a Lexus owner the hospitality of a five-star hotel.

The smaller Lexus Kuala Lumpur centre, meanwhile, has 20 workers to provide a similar level of service.

The two new outlets bring the number of Lexus centres nationwide to five, of which four are 3S centres.

“Since 2007, we have sold more than 4,300 units of Lexus in Malaysia. Out of this, close to 1,500 units were sold last year alone,” said Lexus Malaysia president Datuk Ismet Suki.

“With steady growth year after year, we are proud that our stable of luxury cars has been well received by Malaysians.”

The company plans to open three more Lexus centres in the fourth quarter of the year consisting one each in Ipoh, Kuching and Malacca.
