DEAR Star2, I would like to answer the question posed by the quote (author unknown) published on the inside cover of the Feb 14 issue: “If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular?”
Well, that just debunks the myth that men are more money-savvy than women, of course. The passion for lingerie shows that men too will spend on what is important to them, and will even pay much more than the price tag. Indeed, the enduring appeal of lingerie is the perfect proof that men are the better payers, by far.
