Cherries in season
CHERRY season is just about starting now and the fruit is epitomised in a new limited fragrance called Cherry in the Air, the latest Spring/Summer fragrance from Escada.
As the first fruit of summer, the sight of cherries ripening in the trees signals long, warm, carefree days ahead, and conjures images of cycling with friends through the orchards of southern France.
The top notes open with enticing black cherry and juicy raspberry, with a hint of underlying mandarin.
At the heart is the lightness of gardenia petals, creamy coconut orchid and warm vanilla, blended with the marshmallow note.
The base offers a dry-down of comforting sandalwood, oak and musks, blended with a creamy white suede accord.
The iconic flacon has a satin bow detail, cute cherry print on the bottle plus a cherry ring charm that can be worn as jewellery. Besides the EDT, there’s a body lotion version of the scent as well.Prices range from RM85 to RM263. Available at Escada counters.
