Spreading festive cheer
FOR Chinese New Year, it’s always good to spread festive joy.
Recently, staff members from The Gardens Mall (in Kuala Lumpur) spent their time re-painting and restoring Rainbow Home.
Located in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Rainbow Home currently homes six girls and 18 boys – aged between two and 16 – either orphaned or abandoned. The home was in need of a fresh coat of paint.
The children from Rainbow Home were all smiles as The Gardens Mall team – who partnered with Nippon Paint Malaysia to improve the home’s condition – arrived, brimming with infectious energy.
They also brought gifts and ang pau packets for the children. Boys from the home helped to paint the house’s front entrance, while the girls touched up portions within the vicinity.
The day concluded with a tea break in the pantry of Rainbow Home. A donation of RM5,000, as well as hampers and gifts sponsored by Cold Storage, were given to Rainbow Home children.
