Healthy treats

It’s challenging for some parents to get their kids to take their supplements. The Seven Seas Kids Fruits Gummies that come in the shape of fruits could make it so much more fun to be healthy.

The gummies are available in three flavours, each containing different vitamins and minerals. The strawberry gummies carry Vitamin A, B6 and C for healthy growth and development, while the blackcurrants contain vitamin C and zinc to boost body immunity, and oranges have calcium and vitamin D for healthy bones and teeth.

The range does not contain preservatives, artificial flavouring, artificial colouring nor artificial sweeteners. It also has no added salt, gluten, nuts, hydrogenated fats, yeast or lactose.

Available at all leading pharmacies.

Premium tea

To welcome the spring season, luxury tea brand TWG Tea is introducing two new haute couture teas from the 2013 harvest.

White Spring Tea is a rare, downy Yin Zhen white tea blended with fragrant spring flowers of wild violet, cherry and crocus.

For those who prefer green tea, Sakura! Sakura! Tea is one infused with the fragrance of cherry blossoms.

The teas come in specially-designed tins.

Dual-action lotion

Developed to both moisturise and protect the skin is Himalaya’s new body lotion, the Neem and Almond Protecting Lotion.

An extension of the brand’s Neem range, the lotion’s main ingredients are oils from neem and almond. Neem oil is said to relieve dry skin, soothes itchiness, redness and irritation. It is also believed to improve general skin health and help counter bacterial infections like acne, boils and ulcers.

Almond oil in the lotion works to soften and moisturise skin. Other ingredients include sunflower oil and mowrah oil, the latter known for reducing the degeneration of skin cells, preventing wrinkles and restoring skin flexibility.

The Himalaya Neem and Almond Protecting Lotion (200ml) is available at leading pharmacies, hypermarkets and Himalaya boutiques nationwide.
