Surge of moisture

Sowing the right seeds

DON’T underestimate the power of little seeds! Korean skincare brand TheFaceShop has a new range with chia seed as its “ultimate weapon” against dry skin. It seems chia seed, dubbed the “king of moisture”, can soak up to 10 times its weight in water.

It is claimed that when applied or consumed, it can help you stay hydrated longer.

The innovative moisturising skincare range is targeted at women in their 20s to 40s. It has 100% (organic) chia seed extracts instead of water, no additives and is dermatologically tested.

Seven products are available, including its bestseller Moisture-Holding Seed Cream. The others are Boosting Essence, Soothing Mist Toner, Watery Toner, Watery Lotion, Watery Eye & Spot Essence and Moisture-Holding Seed Essence.
