Sisley's solution for lighter complexion
PIGMENTATION remains the bane of the modern Asian woman. To tackle this, Sisley laboratories has a lightening serum, Phyto-Blanc Absolute Lightening Essence, that has the patented Phyto-Blanc complex to act on reducing the appearance of brown spots, and improving complexion and radiance.
Within the formulation, vitamin C has been stabilised with a glucose molecule (Ascorbic acid 2-glucoside) which allows a prolonged and continued release for greater effectiveness. A new Sisley active ingredient, Hexylresorcinol, reduces the intensity of brown spots. Prickly pear flower extract is said to help improve natural cell turnover and skin radiance.
Natural skin tone is claimed to be noticeably lightened, brown spots reduced and skin luminosity enhanced. The month-long “cure programme” offers four bottles and recommended use is one bottle per week.
There’s also a complementing Phyto-Blanc Lightening Compact Foundation SPF 20 PA++ available. The new foundation with lightening and protective properties is specifically designed for women who want lighter, more luminous and even complexion.
It contains liquorice extract, known for its lightening and anti-free radical properties, and mineral and chemical filters to protect skin from UVA and UVB radiation. Camelia oil, and extracts of linden blossom and mallow give emollient and softening properties.
Available in three shades, the foundation is said to give a velvety, matt and unified finish.
Price: RM980 (essence) and RM370 (compact). Available at Sisley counters.
