Algotherm offers marine cosmetic to whiten skin

THE French stand at the forefront of marine cosmetic and thalassotherapy spa science. Based on its legacy, French brand Algotherm introduces its latest breakthrough in marine skin brightening innovation, Algoblanc CX+. Claimed to be the Ultimate Marine Skin Brightening System, the comprehensive home care system and salon treatments are touted to repair existing skin pigmentation and prevent further dark spots. Actives within the formula regulate and reduce melanin production (melanogenisis) at three stages of melagonesis: they suppress melanogenesis activation, reduce melanocytes production and suppress melanin migration to the surface of the skin.

The Algoblanc CX+ Deep Whitening Action is claimed to address five dimensions – brightening, correction, protection, detoxification and restoration. The key active ingredient is brown seaweed (Dictyopteris Membranacea) which serves to brighten the complexion, blue micro-algae (Phormidium Persicinum), said to smoothen skin, and white lily, that lightens and evens out skin tone. Algotherm’s patented time released AHA allows gradual penetration, encouraging skin renewal, exfoliation and refinement without any irritation.

Under the home care range, products available include a Foaming Cleansing Clarifying Gel, Lotion, Peel-Off Mask, Smoothing Serum, Youth Fluid SPF30, Night Cream, Dark Spot Intensive Corrector and BB Marine Cream SPF30.

Prices are between RM130 and RM240. For more intensive treatments, there are professional Algotherm Whitening Treatments developed by spa specialists and administered by trained beauty professionals. Available at authorised Algotherm salons.
