From Japan, with love
KONNICHIWA! Finally, I get to see the face of Sarah Mori, the writer of the column A Sip of Matcha who has been giving me wonderful insights on the the culture, customs and the unique people of Japan.
I have been reading Sarah’s articles on Mondays for a very long time, maybe since she started. You see, Sarah and I have something in common. I am also married to a Japanese but unlike the writer, I live in KL. However, I have been visiting Japan at least twice every year for as long as I can remember and needless to say, I am impressed every time.
The interesting articles Sarah writes have always provided me with useful information with regard to the culture and practices of the Japanese. Throughout my travels there, I must say that I have learnt a lot from the way the Japanese live, from their traditions, their perceptions, their humility and their love for nature. If only more Malaysians could visit Japan – there is a lot one can learn from them.
Please continue with your articles, Sarah. Looking forward to next Monday!
