Drive raises RM30,000 for abused kids

THE Kerastase Care and Protect campaign against violence towards children successfully raised RM30,000.
The campaign, which was a collaboration between professional luxury hair care brand Kerastase Paris and the United Nation Children’s Fund (Unicef), had started on Feb 1 and ended on April 15.
During the campaign period, limited edition designer bags communicating the message of care and protection for children were sold at 115 selected Kerastase salons nationwide at RM15 each, with 50% of proceeds going towards charity.

“Violence against children can come in the form of physical or psychological abuse, neglect and mistreatment at any place. “It is our responsibility to protect our children from this abuse,” he said at a silent auction held at Zeta Bar, Hilton Kuala Lumpur last month.

The designer bags were also sold at the event, with the money raised channelled to the fund.
L’Oreal Malaysia professional products division general manager Matthieu Juery presented the cheque to Luchmann.
