FTs the movers for PM’s Mission 2057

MISSION 2057 mooted by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi aims to establish world-class cities in Malaysia.
The Federal Territories act as catalysts for development therefore Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan have important roles to play for Mission 2057 to become a reality.
Those in public service can contribute by changing with the times and being more dynamic.

FT Minister Datuk Seri Zulhasnan Rafique said those serving in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan formed the backbone of the respective Federal Territories.
“Following the recent salary hike, the Government now has higher expectations of its employees.
“The hike should therefore be viewed as a bonus and motivation for every public servant to work towards being more effective, productive, creative and innovative,” he added.
The excellence service awards were given to 800 recipients comprising 59 from the management and professional group and 741 from the support group.
Each received certificates and RM1000 cash.
