Countdown in Genting
COUNT down to the New Year in Genting with the various promotions and attractions organised at the City of Entertain-ment.
Bring the family closer together with a hearty and sumptuous meal at one of the resort’s eight restaurants, whether it be five-star dining at The Olive Restaurant, Elite Palace, Imperial Rama or Ming Ren, or a meal in a wholesome restaurant, such as Genting Palace Restaurant, Coffee Terrace, Lake View Seafood Restaurant and First World Café.
Genting’s four night entertainment outlets, namely Safari Disco, Cloud 9, Sportsbook and Patio Bar & Lounge, have lined up special activities to help usher in the festive celebration. Try the specially concocted cocktails and mocktails and party the night away to the sounds spun by DJ Augie and DJ Komodo at Safari Disco or enjoy the music by the live band at Patio Bar & Lounge.
Usher in the New Year: Countdown to 2009 with friends and family at Genting - The City of Entertainment. There will be a New Year’s Eve Retro Countdown Party at the Genting International Showroom with stage performances and deejays from 9pm.
The cover charge is RM50, inclusive of one drink, but entry is free to the first 100 partygoers. There is a Happy Hour promotion on selected drinks from 9pm to 10.30pm.
Those holding tickets to Leo Ku’s New Year’s Eve concert can enjoy a special RM30 cover charge at the event (terms and conditions apply).
Fun ride: The Genting Theme Parks’ operation hours will be extended to 1am on New Year’s eve Two locations have been set for colourful displays of fireworks: The London Square at the outdoor theme park and the open car park area in front of Maxims Genting Hotel.
The Genting Theme Parks’ operation hours will be extended to 1am on New Year’s Eve. The Outdoor Theme Park will sell evening tickets after 7pm at cashier counters and mobile counters at RM21 for adults and RM15 for children and senior citizens.
The Genting Skyway operation hours on Dec 31 are from 7.30am to 1am.
