Australian crustaceans

Learn more about Australian spiny rock lobsters at the Midori Japanese Restaurant of the Putrajaya Marriott. German fare

GERMAN culinary delights are stealing the limelight at Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur's Etoile Bistro this month. The list of must-trys includes Lentil Soup with Frankfurters (Linsen Suppe Wit Wurst) and Pan Fried Trout in Meuniere Butter with Idaho Potato Cubes (Forelle Muellerim Mit Meerrettich), priced from RM15++ per dish. Exotic Thai

Thai chefs from the Impiana Phuket Cabana Resort in Thailand have been flown in for the Thai promotion at the Tonka Bean Café until May 4. The line-up of dishes for the special buffet include Spicy Salty Egg Salad (Yum Kia Kame), Thai Beef Salad (Yum Nuea), Chicken with Coconut and Lemon Grass (Tom Kha Kai), Roast Duck in Red Curry (Kaeng Phed Ped Yang), Thai Barbecue Beef (Seua Rong Hai), Deep-fried Fish with Garlic Sauce (Pla Kapong Keemao), Spicy Fried Fish Cake, Cucumber Relish (Tod Man Plaa) and Chicken in Pandan Leaf.
