Flavours treat for mums


PENANG: Mother’s Day is being cele-brated in a myriad of sweet ‘flavours’.

For sales manager Quak Hong Giap, 26, his mother will be getting more than just a nice Mother’s Day family meal. He is giving her a copy of Fla-vours magazine.

“My mother is getting something extra from me this year. I think she will be happy to have the magazine.

“She will get to exercise her culi-nary skills by trying out new recipes and whipping up new dishes,” he said at Flavours roadshow held at Queens-bay Mall’s Secret Recipe outlet yes-terday.

Flavours magazine is giving subs-cribers at Queensbay Mall and Gurney Plaza today special offers in its ‘Treats for Mom’ promotion in conjunction with Mother's Day.

For May and June, those subscribing to Flavours for a year at RM53 will receive a free RM20 Secret Recipe voucher.

Those signing up for two years at RM98 will get a free 'At Home with Amy Beh 2' recipe book worth RM30 apart from the RM20 Secret Recipe voucher.
