Have a doughnut and win a holiday


BERJAYA Hotels and Resorts have collaborated with Big Apple Donuts and Coffee to bring you a tasty deal that would put you in the running to win holiday prizes worth RM100,000.

Just buy half a dozen of the sweet treats to receive your lucky draw coupon, answer the three questions on it and submit the coupon at the drop-in boxes at the outlets before the draw on June 8.

“RM100,000 translates to roughly 97 winners receiving the Berjaya “Super Deals” holiday vouchers that will cover six destinations namely Kuala Lumpur, Berjaya Hills, Langkawi, Redang, Tioman and Penang,” said Berjaya Hotels and Resorts sales and marketing vice president Lynn Oh.

Berjaya Hotels and Resorts marketing communications director Thang Han-Ni said that partnering with Big Apple is a strategic collaboration that marks a first of its kind for “Super Deals”.

“Both companies share the same passion for fun, family bonding and good food and we look forward to volumes of exciting new events in the future,” Thang said.

Six donuts, including two new creations, have been introduced at Big Apple outlets and will represent and reflect the destinations they have been named after.

“We want to promote local holiday spots to the locals and remind them that there is no need to travel far for a good holiday as there are many to be found within the country,” Thang said, adding that customers who purchase them will also receive a custom-design box.

Big Apple director Mike Chan said that this year marked the doughnut company's first year anniversary.

“We are proud to be able to celebrate this special occasion with Berjaya through this event. In the future we are planning to open up more outlets locally as well as overseas,” Chan said, adding that to date there are 16 outlets in the country.

Apart from the lucky draw, customers will also get a stamp for every six doughnuts they purchase. These can be accumulated for more delicious doughnuts and Berjaya holiday destinations cash rebates.

Holiday vouchers can also be won by taking part in the 'Online Personality Quiz' at www.berjayahotels-resorts.com and this will end on June 30. Every 50th entry will receive a RM50 cash voucher redeemable at Berjaya Hotels and Resorts.
