Steward wins big at his first annual dinner
CYBERVIEW Lodge Resort and Spa steward Thanggathurai Sinnathurai was over the moon recently when he won the grand prize of a car at the hotel's annual dinner.
Thanggathurai, who won a new Proton Saga, had only started working at the resort in Cyberjaya five months ago.
Here you go: Shaheen (right) presenting the mock key to Thanggathurai. I never expected this. To give away a car as the grand prize for a lucky draw is simply fantastic, he said after accepting a mock key from Cyberview Lodge general manager Shaheen Shah.
Since this year is also our tenth anniversary celebration, the management felt it would be timely to celebrate with a bang, said Shaheen.
Other prizes given away during the Red Carpet Night themed dinner were a 32-inch LCD TV set, laptops, a teakwood dining set and electrical goods.
It was a night filled with glamour and glitter with staff members parading in their best costumes and jewellery.
The opening gambit was a performance by the management staff comprising a musical drama of short movies from the 10,000 BC up to the Star Wars era.
