Air Cool opens its latest branch
By LIM CHIA YING
Established in 2001, the brand offers auto window tinting, offering a range of premium quality tinted films. Its brands include Air Cool, I Cool, Sun Control, Ekspress Cool, Smart Cool, Super Cool and Solar Plo.
Kinrara assemblyman and Selangor senior state executive councillor Teresa Kok officially opened the branch.
Air Cool managing director Peter Lim said the newly-launched Air Cool DuroGard & Air Cool Innotex (5mil) 3-in-1 multifunctional safety film are anti-burglary, shatterproof, and sun proof.
The 3-in-1 multifunctional safety film is innovated from nano technology, a special ceramic particle and multi string layer applied onto the surface of the window film to create an ultra-strong, invisible shield, said Lim.
Demonstration: Teresa (in red jacket) watching the window tinting carried out by experts as Lim explains the details to her. It prevents your window glass from shattering on impact, bonding it together to protect you from injury and your car from intrusion.
He said besides keeping the car's interior cool and comfortable for the driver and passengers, the tinted films also served as a protection layer to prevent discolouration and fading of accessories and dashboard due to the exposure to sunlight.
All tinted films are said to be tested by Sirim and are JPJ-compliant.
The company has also won awards including the Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise - Keris Award 2005, Business of the Year Award 2005, Asia Pacific International Entrepreneur Excellence Award 2006 - Excellence Service Quality, Asia Pacific Super Excellent Brands & Design Book of Records 2006, and Business Summit Award 2007.
Air Cool executive director Karen Khor is also a winner of the Smart Women Entrepreneur 2005/2006 Award.
