Chief cop honours SMK Maahad cadet unit
Muar police chief Asst Comm, Mohamed Nasir Ramli said that SMK Maahad police cadet was also the overall winner in the state’s school police cadet camping activity in May.
Speaking at the department’s monthly gathering here recently, ACP Mohamed Nasir said the students interest, enthusiasm and commitment in police cadet had made them the pride of the department.
“We hope more schools will set up police cadet units to give opportunities for students to learn about laws and self-discipline.
ACP Mohamed Nasir said: “In our appreciation of the SMK Maahad police cadet unit’s success, we would like to presented the best school police cadet camping trophy to the team and also commendation letters to 47 police personnel in the district.”
Well done: Muar police acknowledging the SMK Maahad police cadet unit, which won the nation’s best school police cadet camping trophy in June. He also said that residents could help police make citizen’s arrests if they saw crimes such a snatch thefts or motorcycle thefts.
He said they could help arrest the criminals and call the police to make a proper arrest, adding that such cooperation could help curb crime.
