Morib set to regain past glory with latest project

THE completion of the Morib Gold Coast project is set to be the new landmark of the once popular beach town that has started to lose its appeal.
The much talked about mega project valued at more than RM1bil is slated for completion soon and the STG Group had planned for its official opening in August next year.
With more than 80% of the 286 service apartments sold, everything points towards the project becoming a catalyst in the economic growth of Morib.
STG Group chairman Alex Tan Siong Seng said the project offered big returns to buyers who had been guaranteed 8% annual return on the price of their properties.

“Morib Gold Coast will become a major tourism spot,” said Tan.
He added that his management and staff had been working very hard in ensuring the success of the project and to make it a major tourism spot in the state.
Tan also said they were committed to tourists and the locals were expected to benefit from the project.
The fact that the project had many foreign property owners, he said, would be a major reason for it to be an international attraction.
“They will become our promoters as they will help to promote the project to other foreigners,” said Tan, adding they would also work with the government, tourism and travel agencies in their bid to lure tourists to the spot.
Tan said there would be sufficient development and activities created so that visitors would be kept occupied during their stay.
He said the beach front would be turned into a private beach where visitors could appreciate the scenic view.
“`We would also be organising beach and water sports to cater for different types of visitors, including children and adults,’’ he said, adding that there would be a beer garden at the beach front.
Cool respite: The tables and benches placed under shady trees by the beach Tan said the major attraction of the project would be the indoor and outdoor themed parks.
Plenty of amusement and excitement await visitors of the theme parks.
“We expect them to return home with sweet memories,’’ he said
The other attraction would be the F&B dining options expected to offer various local, Chinese, Japanese and Western fares.
Besides the service apartments, Tan said a four-star hotel was being developed.
With the project located just 15 minutes away from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, accessibility is the least of the worry.
