Heritage Row is a hotspot for clubs with plenty of choices for clubbers


Club beat listings looks at Asian Heritage Row this week, taking us up KL’s Jalan Sultan Ismail into the Asian Heritage Row along three adjoining roads as well as a peek across the Heritage Row streets into the rising scene of Capital Square.

It’s back with a slight name change but still @Maison.

Thursday: Vibration@Maison. Ladies night dedicated to the groovy and soulful sounds of Retro R&B. DJ Masterbase and FunkZu hit the decks.

Friday: Flash@Maison. DJs Doni G and Kino take on electro and house music.

Saturday: Bounce@Maison goes hip hop and R&B with DJ Kut Masta K in da house.

Admission: RM35 (men). Ladies free entry all night long.

ASIAN HERITAGE ROW

UPSTAIRS: Upstairs has a huge artist studio feels to it with high ceilings.

Elaborate lighting and visual projections are complimented by a top notch sound system that offers early loungers deep and upbeat lounge tunes and late night clubber music for some serious grooving. Wednesdays and Thursdays feature R&B with Kartel Hitman (Wed) and DJs Chinois and Soya (Thur). Admission (with one drink): RM50. It’s Ladies night for both so you gals get in free entry.

Fridays and Saturdays goes completely house music with DJs Nitesin and JordanMan. Admission (with one drink): RM50 (men, RM35 (ladies) after midnight.

CYNNA: Cynna has gone completely R&B. DJs JordanMan and Nitesin take on Wednesday while JordanMan goes it solo on Thursday for Kingdom of R&B.

Fridays and Saturdays sees the Kartel Hitman take over. Admission is identical to Upstairs.

SPACE: Seven days of hip hop and R&B. Sundays to Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with DJs B-Groove and 2Pac. Starting this coming Wednesday its Candy Jam with Caprice & The Fantasy Girls joining the Djs. Thursdays is Naked Thursday with DJ Joe Black and MC Rishi. FREE ENTRY. Mojo is housed in an 80-year old pre-war house with its harmonious merge of old and new revealed in a fusion of retro chic and funky modernity with an old mango tree as a centre piece.
