Qigong events in Genting
IN CONJUNCTION with the 29th anniversary of the China Soaring Crane Qigong (CSCQ), the Wilayah Persekutuan chapter will be organising a commemoration dinner on Nov 20 in Genting Highlands. An upgrading class and Qigong forum will be held from Nov 21 to 22 at the same venue. The association manages more than 10 Qigong teaching stations at state level, with preliminary 90-minute basic courses twice a week. Traffic contra flow
THERE will be a temporary contra flow on the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas) from 11pm today to 5am on Sunday from Km35.3 to Km36.7 to facilitate the beam- launching work for the Sime UEP cross bridge. Users from Lingakaran Tengah Expressway (Elite) heading to Kuala Lumpur or Cheras are advised to make a U-turn at the Hicom interchange. Greek theatre
THE National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (Aswara) will be staging a classic Greek theatre performance entitled Lysistrata as an evaluation for final-year diploma students and second-year bachelor degree students at the Panggung Eksperimen, Aswara. Peformance times are 8.30pm tomorrow; 3pm and 8.30pm on Sunday; and 8.30pm on Monday. Tickets are priced at RM10 for the public and RM5 for students. Medical camp
THERE will be a medical camp at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church at No. 22, Lebuh Berangan, Lucky Garden, Port Klang, from 9am till noon tomorrow. Admission is free, and free medical tests will be provided for blood pressure and sugar level as well as eye and urine examination.
