Another free magazine for global market
A PENANG-BASED tourism magazine company has introduced another free magazine for the international market entitled Small Island, Big Heart, Great Destination!
IN Penang tourism magazine managing editor Ch’ng Huck Theng said 20,000 copies have been printed out, of which 10,000 copies would be given to the state government.
Ch’ng said the aim of the magazine was to showcase Penang as a prefect destination to invest, visit, stay and to seek health and medical assistance.
“We plan to print about 200,000 such magazines next year for, among others, the Indonesian, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany and the Japan markets in various languages.
“Our current In Penang magazine that has been distributed free for the past three years provides relevant information to tourists and visitors who are already in Penang.
“We believe it is also important to constantly remind our foreign friends and investors that Penang is a fantastic destination for their next holiday,” he said in his speech before State Tourism Development and Culture Committee chairman Danny Law Heng Kiang revealed the magazine at a hotel here yesterday.
